Death is a natural part of life. It is seen as natural and essential, especially in science. The story itself means that death is inevitable. That once fate has declared death upon us, it will come, and no one can escape. No matter how rich and valuable you are as a person, death doesn’t see any difference to the lower class community, that it will come, and none of us is spared. It also pointed out how death sees each one used as equal, that the only ending we are to face is death itself. We can also see how Prince Prospero did his best to prevent the Red Death from coming. He provides entertainment and the masquerade that would be a way to distract the noble people inside. The prince himself is obviously scared but disregarded it anyway. The story symbolizes how humans fear death. That some of them try to avoid it as if they could. But again. Death is inescapable. It also made me realize that when it comes to death, everything is none. You can’t bring any material things that you possess. So, all tangible things aren’t as useful and helpful as it looks like. Because life is too valuable to waste chasing possession.
