According to what I've learned about John Milton's literary pieces, the center of it all is about the faith you have in God. It expresses most of its fear and frustration in life, but his works remind you how powerful God is, that you have to strengthen your faith no matter how difficult life gets. On his Blindness taught me how to establish deeper trust in God. That our faith will grow stronger as soon as we release the power of prayer in our lives. That even though there's an ending of something, there would always be a new beginning for you to start. Just like the speakers' turning point when he felt frustrated and thinking of it as a punishment to him by God, in the end, you can see how amazing your life can still be even if it meant losing something that meant everything to you. That the most important thing is being alive. The reading the poem, it made you reflect to the things you need to be thanking of. We may feel off most of the times, and fearing of what is going to happen next. These emotion hits us up mostly when we're quiet. We may end losing the determination or having difficulties at focusing, and you start being distant to you friends and family. I think there are ways to cope at these things that bothers us even if the problem is just as small as a grain of salt. We don't need to stop ourselves from negative thoughts, let it be. Let it all out, your worrying will actually get worse when you try to control your thoughts. It just adds up to the fuel of the negative thoughts you have. And also being aware to what you are feeling is a good start. Instead of disregarding and not paying attention, why not accept it and acknowledge these problems just like what Milton pointed at the end of the poem. And, centering God in your life can make a huge change for you and the people that surround you.
