My Poem: "The Pop Star"

By: Mikaela Natividad

A prepossessing face of a lady, remarkably in shape and beauty.

Works in Hollywood who loves singing and was a child star celebrity.

Sure, it's frightening to perform on stage, but she chooses to stay.

Her voice may be tuneful, yet she mourn freedom everyday.

Publicly sings and talks about inspiration,

But fame only led her to depression.

With her hazel brown eyes and plumpy lips,

You wouldn't recognize internal-conflicts.

She wore sheer bodysuits with crystal in the shade of green Myrtle.

As it is said, "You're not a star if you don't sparkle."

Change is constant in her world,

Which makes it harder for her to be in-control.

Manager says, "wear this - - do that" just to be intact.

When in fact, her mind is overly whacked.

With her walking down the street,

Will make everyone go crazy and scream.

People demanding for autographs and photos.

She cannot even manage to enjoy breakfast tacos.

She may have perform flawlessly that made her shine,

But would still crave for a normal life.

I hope y'all like it!
