A reflection to the story: "Who moved my cheese?"

Updated: Jan 10, 2021

The story "Who moved my cheese" can still be a good way for a lot of people to be motivated in time of crisis. Whether you're starting a business or when you're at the lowest point in life. Cheese represent something that you want in life. Something that would make you feel happy, grateful, and satisfied. It would also be a representation of a situation where you'd feel that you deserve to have that or a feeling of comfort without realizing that that thing won't really last, and that the only thing that is permanent is change. Without change there is no progress. I would relate this to a business. Where you need to learn how to adapt in order to survive. I've seen a lot of people in the news, that made some huge changes in their lives with the help of the "new normal", while some still haven't figured things out. Just like hem & haw, who took a long wait before the other one decided to make a change for himself. Some people ended up with the same situation but that's all right, it happens and has a solution. First, is being aware of what's really happening. Second, is to ask yourself where would this lead you, if you continued to be paralyzed in that situation, would that help you? Like, you can't be like hem forever, because it would bring you nothing. It would be so irritating knowing that you let that thing in the past eat you. (or consume you) That is one of the negative aspect that a lot of people, even me have expressed/ experienced. Yes, we really can't take those emotions out but we can always find a way to control it.

And by controlling it, we happen to make some movements or improvements one at a time. And it might take a lot of time before you fully understand how you can turn bad things into a good one. Again, that's all right, (at least that's how I cheer myself up) it may take a while, but at least you're not rushing the process itself and that might lead you to great things in life. I've also realize something after watching the video, that success really does takes time and hard work. At the same time I wouldn't rush myself up to being successful, because true happiness comes after the enjoyment during the journey itself. (that's where the fun excites you the most) And whatever happens in the past stays in there. You'd see the real change, when you accept things smoothly.

(personally, I've done so many mindless decision, acted up because of my emotion. Caused pain to some of the most important people in my life, which eventually brought pain and loss of compassion. And, that didn't bring any good into my life back then. Now, I use those memories as a lesson for me to remember in every decision-making. But also made an understanding of what truly happiness and contentment means. The "cheese" in the video would also be a great use of inspiration, as it also feeds you into a better version of yesterday's mistakes.)

So live happy and be happy!
